Metallic Taped Chevron Nail Art!

Good afternoon! It's been hard for me to get back in the blogging groove after the long holiday weekend and Hailey being on summer break! Also, we've been working on some really exciting new things for AIA lately that take up a bit of my normal "blogging" time. I'm hoping to find a balance again soon. In the meantime, I have my current nail art mani to show you. It combines the look of a "half moon mani" and chevrons!


 I'm still loving all things chevron and I was inspired by this look from Wondrously Polished. I wish I had clicked through all the way to see her tutorial before I started-- I did my tape one side at a time and I didn't get the chevrons perfectly aligned this way. I will have to try again another time.

My base is OPI My Signature Is "DC" from the new Coca Cola Collection, a gorgeous silver foil polish. The other two colors I used are Illamasqua Seance and Nicole by OPI Teal Me Something New.

These match my phone case so of course I totally love them. They just took such a long time that I didn't get to do the teal on my right hand. Mismatched manis are in, right? Thanks so much for reading!
